NHLA Trail Rides for 2024

CCC Camp – Marienville, PA
Directions: Take I-80 to exit 60 and go North on Route 66 to Marienville. 6 miles from Marienville, watch for a road called Duhring Rd. Turn right onto Duhring Rd and go about 3-4 miles until you come to a “Y”. Take the left fork of the “Y” and after crossing the bridge, take an immediate left and follow the bumpy road to the CCC Camp.
All camping reservations must be made through Linda. Call after mid-May. 814-927-6710. Do not call Peg to reserve your site.
Kennerdell, PA
The ride is moderate to hilly, rocky terrain. Shoes or hoof boots for horses are highly recommended as the trails are quite rocky due to spring storms in the area.
Directions: Traveling from the west, take I-80 East and exit at Route 8 North/Barkeyville. Go north on Route 8 to the Pearl exit (Route 308) and turn left after exiting. Bear right at the “Y” in the road and continue right at the stop sign to get onto Old Route 8. Continue down the road and turn right onto Twin Oaks Rd. Bear left when you come to the “Y” in the road. Stay on Twin Oaks until you come to Dennison Rd and turn right onto Dennison. Continue to the state forest land, parking lot on the left.
Two Mile County Park – Franklin, PA
Address: 309 Lockwood Lane Franklin, PA 16323
Directions: From I-80 East, take exit 29 Franklin/Oil City/Barkeyville. Turn left onto Route 8 and continue for 16.4 miles. Turn right onto Liberty St and go 0.2 miles. Turn left onto US-322W/13th St. (pass McDonald’s on the right) for 0.5 miles. Turn right onto 417/Rocky Grove Ave. and go 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Cherrytree Rd and go 2.6 miles. Turn right onto Lockwood Lane and drive all the way to the back to the grassy parking/camping area.
Call the Two Mile Office to reserve your camping spot.
